CO2 emissions

OUR COMMITMENT TO A GREEN WORLD

Hotel Ca' Tron is a small family-run business that, over the years, has always been actively committed to the protection and respect of the environment that hosts it.

The interventions carried out in recent years:

PHOTOVOLTAIC

We have installed a photovoltaic system with a storage battery in the hotel parking area. A roof for dual-use cars has been created: the first is to protect vehicles from the elements, the second is to harness the production of solar energy for self-consumption. There are storage batteries that will be used in part to support night-time energy consumption.

NEW VRF (VARIABLE REFRIGERANT FLOW) SYSTEM AND HEAT PUMP

The heating system has been replaced with a VRF system - i.e. variable refrigerant fluid systems - highly technological and highly energy-efficient systems . The use of refrigerant gas ensures a lower inertia of the system , increasing overall efficiency and limiting damage related to possible leaks. Each VRF system can be managed through zone control systems that allow you to set the desired mode and temperature and control. This system saves on primary energy consumption and, consequently , contributes to environmental sustainability. A heat pump is a technology that harnesses heat from a renewable, safe, naturally available thermal energy source (air, water, soil) and domestic electricity.

WHAT ARE WE DOING TO BE MORE SUSTAINABLE?

We use LED lighting with motion sensors throughout the structure, there are electronic locks in the rooms that activate the lighting system only in the presence of the guest. The windows are equipped with curtains and sun screens to lower the temperature of the rooms in summer. The hotel is equipped with an external thermal coat and double-glazed windows. CO2 . We are committed to complying with recycling management standards, water waste and reduced use of chemicals on a daily basis. We encourage the use of public transport (in fact, we have a bus stop in front of the hotel) by offering free parking.

OUR COMMITMENT FROM 2023

Some information on our lowering of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. How are we contributing? The hotel has moved from Class B to Energy Class A3, the hotel is therefore a nearly zero-energy building and produces about 53.75 kWh/m2 per year.
